Birmingham Travel Dad has Arrived! (Or, will soon depart).

Hey! It’s another travel blog! Sure, you say, there are lots of travel blogs: what makes this one so different? Well, this blog happens to focus on: 

-Travel with family, especially twin boys ages 5-8 

-Including travel with grandparents 

-Western Europe focus 

-Departing from Birmingham 

If this is useful to you, congratulations! You’ve found your blog. If not, well, you’re welcome to read anyway. I’ll be building this around my upcoming family trip to Europe, so this will function as a traditional travelogue, too.  

Anyway, the things I expect to be able to share:  

-Choosing destinations, starting with selection criteria

-Finding good flights, including rewards travel strategies

-Booking hotels and car rentals (again, with selection criteria emphasis) 

-Gear for the trip 

-Finding food for everyone on the trip

And whatever else strikes me as useful. I hope y’all enjoy.
